The Mansfield Public Library welcomes and encourages residents to volunteer their time and talents to enrich and support library services. Volunteers are needed on a regular basis and may be needed for special events, projects and activities.
If you are at least 12 years old and interested in volunteering at the Library, please call us at 817-728-3690. All volunteers will be trained and supervised by the library staff.
The Mansfield Public Library requires criminal background checks on all volunteers age 15 and older.
Due to high demand, the volunteer interest form is currently closed. If you have questions, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Alison Sexton, at 817-728-3695 or alison.sexton@mansfieldtexas.gov.
Teen Advisory Group (TAG) is a volunteer leadership program for teens, 13 years and older. Group members will earn volunteer hours while helping to plan library programming, community projects and library engagement opportunities while enjoying food and fun. Teens will learn valuable job skills like project planning and resource management with the potential for letters of recommendation for college, scholarship, or job applications.
