Volunteer

The Mansfield Public Library welcomes and encourages residents to volunteer their time and talents to enrich and support library services. Volunteers are needed on a regular basis and may be needed for special events, projects and activities.

If you are at least 12 years old and interested in volunteering at the Library, please call us at 817-728-3690 or stop by the library. All volunteers will be trained and supervised by the library staff. 

The Mansfield Public Library requires criminal background checks on all volunteers age 15 and older. If you have questions, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Blacey Bailey, at 817-728-3695 or blacey.bailey@mansfieldtexas.gov.

Summer 2020 Internship

The Mansfield Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual interested in library work or a library science student for an unpaid summer 2020 internship. This robust internship will provide hands-on experience in vital public library operations and independent projects that may satisfy most library school practicum courses. Mansfield Public Library will provide training, mentorship, a flexible work schedule, and assistance in successfully fulfilling your library school practicum.
