Stache is a 2 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix who was born in Hungary and was purchased by the City of Mansfield in November of 2019. Stache was introduced and trained for 6 weeks with his Partner; Mansfield Police Officer J. Walley at Hill Country Dog Center in Pipe Creek, Texas. Upon completion of training, Stache and Ofc. Walley were certified by the National Narcotic Detector Dog Association as a K9 Team in patrol tactics and narcotics detection. Stache and Ofc. Walley began their tour of duty on patrol in March of 2020.
