Mansfield Historical Museum Mission 

The Mansfield Historical Museum and Heritage Center’s purpose is to preserve the history of Mansfield and to provide resources to those seeking information about the community’s past. The museum will preserve artifacts and archives, create educational exhibits and programs, and provide outreach to the public to ensure that this information is accessible to all.

Man House Museum Mission

The purpose of the Man House Museum is to preserve the mid-late 19th century home and site of the Ralph S. Man family; to cultivate interest in early Mansfield history and life, through the acquisition and exhibition of artifacts, educational programs, and outreach; and to make the history of the era accessible to the community of Mansfield. 

Historical Services Mission 

The purpose of the Historical Services for the city of Mansfield is to preserve local history by acquiring and maintaining artifacts and information, and to ensure that these resources are available to the community. It promotes interest in the heritage and historical landmarks of Mansfield by encouraging education, outreach and cultural tourism.
