Projects

2020 parks map quadrants no parksBased on the analysis of our current facilities, population and demographic needs and feedback from residents, these are the projects identified as top priorities over the next ten years.  Ranking was determined by the advisory committee based on the most urgent needs and demands; order of implementation is subject to funding, land and other factors.

Projects are broken down by service area, with larger projects like a recreation center impacting the entire city and other projects, like adding neighborhood parks (small parks with limited amenities like Bell Park) or community parks (large, more diverse options like Chandler Park) or upgrades to existing parks listed in the specific area of the city.

Planners use four quadrants for Mansfield, with the boundaries of Hwy 287 running north to south and Walnut Creek (the physical waterway, not street) running west to east.

Projects are shown in the priority order identified by the advisory committee but will be completed based on funding and other factors.
