- Trash and Recycling Route Changes
Mansfield is growing and in order to provide more efficient curbside service, trash and recycling pick up days will be changing in some areas in Mansfield.
Republic Services will be updating several routes in the city to improve pickup schedules. Because truck routes will be more balanced and less spread out, collection will be faster and more efficient.
Because the Republic trucks will be running more efficient routes, you may notice earlier pick up times. On regularly scheduled days (not affected by weather, holidays, etc.), pickups that previously ran into the late evening can be completed sooner.
There is no change in cost for these route changes.
Only 20 percent of households in the city will see any change to their trash and/or recycling curbside pickup days.
Because only a few neighborhoods will be affected, enter your address in the top, right corner of the interactive map below to confirm curbside pickup days in your area.
Always place your trash and recycling out by 7 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day to avoid any disruption of service. You can even set your trash and recycling as early as 1 p.m. the day before to ensure it is collected. Residents who are not impacted by a change in collection days may see a difference in collection time as the process becomes more efficient.
