The Mansfield Activities Center opened in 2001 as the City's first recreation center. The 23,431 square foot facility includes a full-size gymnasium and four large classroom spaces. Future phases and expansions were planned with the original design but the facility has received only general updates like flooring, paint and storage.

Most recreation programs are managed through the MAC, though some are held offsite. Click here to search the online registration system for upcoming programs. Annual membership is required to register for classes or attend free programs like open gym and pickleball open court.

MAC staff handles all rentals for park fields, pavilions and MAC spaces, which include the gym and all classroom spaces. More information about rental options can be found on our website here.

The Senior Lifestyles Program operates at the MAC for residents ages 55 and over, offering a wide variety of daily activities like social time, card playing, light fitness, bingo and enrichment. Daily meals are provided at low to no cost through a partnership with Tarrant County Sixty & Better. Membership is required; free transportation is provided within city limits. Programs are taught by staff and volunteers.
