Begun in 1999, the Crime Scene Unit has grown to three fully-trained investigators. The team is capable of working any crime scene, from simple thefts to complex violent crimes.
Universal Latent Workstation
Recently the department added a Universal Latent Workstation which accesses state and national records of fingerprints in searchable databases.
Firearms Evidence and DNA
The Crime Scene Unit also has access, through other agencies, to searchable databases for firearms evidence and DNA.
