Historic preservation is more than just the places and events important to the City’s past. It’s also about the experiences of the people who live here. In 2020, Mansfield celebrate the 130th anniversary of the City’s incorporation. To mark this milestone, we want to know YOUR stories about life in Mansfield Tell us what it was like for you growing up, going to school, working an living here.

We may display your historic artifacts at one of our city facilities or the Mansfield Historical Museum and Heritage Center on Main Street.

We may record you stories, photos, etc. in the City’s preservation collection and the Mansfield Historical Museum archive.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Write your story and submit it with the completed form. Stories may be submitted in one of the following ways:
- Drop your story off in person at the Planning Department at City Hall, the Mansfield Public Library or the Mansfield Historical Museum.
- Send your story by post or e-mail your story to the Historic Preservation Officer or Mansfield History Museum at the address below.
