Curbside Pickup Temporarily Suspended for Grass, Brush & Bulky Items

Grass, Leaves and Brush Curbside Pickup Postponed

The City of Mansfield Environmental Services and Republic Services would like to thank our residents for their patience and understanding while crews work diligently to collect the additional curbside trash generated with so many families practicing social distancing at home.

During this time, due to a reduced workforce and increasing curbside set-outs, Republic Services will no longer be collecting grass, leaves, brush, limb debris or bulky items curbside. Instead crews will continue to focus on the increase residential volume to keep our curbs clean.

In the meantime, here is what you can do to help keep grass, leaves, brush and bulky waste out of the trash:

  • Mulch grass and leaves and leave it on your lawn, or use as compost in your yard and garden beds
  • If you use a landscape service, and they take your bagged leaves/grass, continue to bag them for the landscaper to remove
  • Hang on to any bagged grass/leaves until regular schedules resume
  • For limbs and bulky items, please keep until we are able to reschedule the Chunk Your Junk event

The City of Mansfield is in constant communication with Republic Services and we will continue to keep our residents updated on any impacts to curbside trash collection services throughout the pandemic.

If you have any questions about curbside brush/bulky trash pickup, call 817-276-4200. Please visit the City’s coronavirus webpage at to stay up to date with closings, cancellations and virus-related service impacts.
