The City of Mansfield Environmental Services and Republic Services will resume the normal schedule for curbside brush and bulky waste pickup. Beginning June 4, residents can place bundled brush and bulky waste curbside on their regularly scheduled garbage collection days. This service was temporarily suspended in April and replaced with a Wednesday-only pickup from April 8 through June 3. The temporary, Wednesday-only pickup, will end after June 3. This does not affect regular garbage pickup.
Brush, limbs, yard debris and twigs will be collected if tied into bundles no more than 4 feet in length, weighing approximately 50 pounds or less each and no larger than 2 cubic yards (need help visualizing 2 cubic yards?). It is still recommended residents mulch grass and leaves, leaving it on your lawn or as compost in your yard and garden beds.
Please note there is a difference between brush and bulky brush. Bulky brush is defined as larger tree limbs, debris and tree stumps. Bulky brush is not eligible for regular pick-up on garbage collection days. Please contact Republic Services at 817-317-2000 or visit their website to arrange for a special truck to pick up bulky brush. Bulky brush must be cut into 6 foot lengths, and does not have to be bundled.
Tree limbs and tree debris may also be hauled by residents to one of the available landfills. See the landfill information tab for information on vouchers and landfill rates.
Bulky items will be collected on your regular garbage collection days. Place these items on the curb:
