Virtual Family Place Workshop makes learning about early childhood development informative and fun! Caregivers and their 1-3 year olds will watch, learn and play their way to earning digital badges and rewards. Little ones get engaging play activities, while parents get expert information from local early childhood professionals including a nutritionist, speech therapist, healthcare provider, and more.
Mansfield Public Library’s Youth Services Librarian, Julie Crisafulli, runs the program. "With the COVID-19 pandemic, so many of our programs were simply not safe to conduct in-person. The Virtual Family Place Workshop brings playtime and learning time to busy parents from the safety of their homes."
The new digital platform allows caregivers to go at their own pace, earning badges and rewards from any desktop computer or mobile device. The Virtual Family Place Workshop opens on November 1 and runs until December 31, 2020.
