The regular City Council meeting Monday, Nov. 9, will begin at 5 p.m. with executive session followed by a 7 p.m. public meeting. The meeting will be streamed to the City website and can be viewed on MCTV-Charter Spectrum Channel 190.

Consent Agenda includes:

  1. Third and final reading of an ordinance amending regulations for vacant buildings and properties.
  2. Third and final reading of an ordinance amending traffic code regulating no parking zones for historic downtown.
  3. Resolution authorizing grant application to Firehouse Subs Safety Foundation Program for mass casualty/active shooter response kits.
  4. Resolution approving selection of Komatsu Architects for architectural and engineering services for the Police and Fire Strategic Training project and remodel of the Law Enforcement Center.
  5. Resolution approving amendment to the contract for design services with Wier & Associates for Heritage Parkway westbound lane reconstruction project.
  6. Resolution approving interlocal agreement with Tarrant County for construction of roadway and parking lot improvements at Skinner Sports Complex.
  7. Request for special event permit for Hometown Holidays.

  Council will hear the following public hearings:

Under New Business, the Council will consider:

  1. Possible action to suspend the procedural rules of council and reschedule the regular City Council meeting of Dec. 28 to Dec. 14.
