City Council Meeting Preview

The regular City Council meeting Monday, Jan. 11, will begin with a 4:30 p.m. work session, followed by an executive session and public meeting. The meeting will be streamed to the City website and can be viewed on MCTV-Charter Spectrum Channel 190.

Work Session:

  1. Proposed convention center hotel at the Stillwater Project
  2. The Backyard development

  1. Salvation Army Red Kettle Mayoral Challenge Trophy
  2. Acknowledgement of Service -  Mayor David Cook
  3. Acknowledgement of Service - Councilmember Brent Newsom

Consent Agenda:

  1. Resolution authorizing funding in an amount not to exceed $239,175 and approval of contracts for design and survey services with Teague Nall and Perkins for the FM 157 and South Parkridge sanitary sewer improvements.
  2. Approval of minutes for the 5 p.m. Dec. 14 regular City Council meeting.
  3. Approval of minutes for the 7 p.m. Dec. 14 regular City Council meeting.
  4. Approval of minutes for the Dec. 17 special City Council meeting.

Public Hearing and First Reading:

  1. Public Hearing and First Reading on an ordinance approving a change of zoning from SF-7.5/16 single-family residential district to PD Planned Development District for professional and medical office, retail, personal service, artist studio and eating place without drive-through service on 0.46 acres located at 105 N. 1st Ave.
