[ARCHIVED] Nailed it: Baking Challenge!

Love baking? Enter Mansfield Public Library's Nailed it! Challenge to create the most patriotic 4th of July cake. The cakes will be judged on Mansfield Public Library's Facebook page.

Reserve your supply bag here and pick up at Mansfield Public Library. Your supplies include: cake mix, frosting, piping bag, gel icing, and patriotic sprinkles. Let  your creativity shine with these supplies!

Rules

  • Limit 1 entry per family. Work on your Nailed It! challenge together!
  • Items provided: cake mix, piping bag, icing, gel food coloring, and  stars sprinkles
  • Each Nailed It! challenge must have a patriotic theme.
  • All entries must be in good taste. We reserve the right to omit entries that we feel are inappropriate.
  • The library requires a picture of the end result to be submitted on the social media pages. 
  • By entering the contest, you give the library permission to share your pictures and/or your first name online and/or in print.

 Timeline

  • June 11-June 28 - Registration open and accepting entries
  • June 29 -Last day to email  your entry to the the library at mpl@mansfieldtexas.gov 
  • June 30- Photos of entries will be posted on the Mansfield Public Library Facebook page
  • July 1-5 - Voting period on the library Facebook.
  • July 6 - The winner is announced on the library Facebook page and contacted via phone or email.

Judging

Photos of all entries will be posted on the official Mansfield Public Library Facebook page on June 30. From July 1-5 patrons may "like" their favorite  picture. One "like" equals one vote. Voting closes July 5, at 11:59 p.m. The winner will be announced on July 6.
