Veterans Day Parade and Salute participants needed

Veterans Day Parade and Salute logo

The City of Mansfield's Veterans Day Parade and Salute is back for 2021! We are proud to once again recognize veterans from Mansfield and beyond with this special event, and we are thankful for those who have dedicated their lives in service to the United States of America.

The parade is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021. The parade will begin at St. Jude Catholic Church – located at 500 E. Dallas St. – and travel north on South Waxahachie Street before turning west on East Broad Street. From there, the parade will travel north on Smith Street, then south on Main Street after a brief turn to the west onto East Oak Street, and finally, east on East Dallas Street, ending at St. Jude Catholic Church.

We are looking for groups, businesses and organizations to participate in the parade. Participants may pull a float with a vehicle, use a vehicle without a float, or simply walk or march in the parade. If you are interested in participating, submit an application by Oct. 15 and we will respond as soon as possible. Spaces are limited and participants must receive approval.

Immediately following the parade, there will be a patriotic salute ceremony in front of The LOT Downtown, located at 110 S. Main St.
