Proclamation
- Mayor Michael Evans proclaimed the week of April 3-9 as National Library Week in the City of Mansfield.
Presentation
- Council presented United States Rep. Jake Ellzey with a compass and a challenge coin to thank him for the work he has done for the City of Mansfield.
- The City of Mansfield's Financial Services Department presented the annual comprehensive financial report for fiscal year 2021.
Consent Agenda
- Council passed a resolution awarding a construction contract in the amount of $578,216.30 to 308 Construction, LLC, of Argyle, Texas, for the construction of basketball courts and additional parking spaces at McClendon Park West.
- Council passed a resolution awarding a guaranteed maximum price contract in the amount of $3,600,140.96 to The Fain Group Inc. for the construction of Gertie Barrett Park and McClendon Park West improvements.
- Council passed a resolution approving the funding for the removal and replacement of landscape screening surrounding a gas well located near 621 Easy Dr.
- Council passed a resolution approving the funding for the maintenance of irrigation and landscape surrounding a gas well located near 621 Easy Dr.
- Council passed a resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into an interlocal agreement with Dallas County for the purpose of cooperative purchase of goods, products and/or services.
- Council passed a resolution authorizing funding in the amount of $872,550 to Taknek, LLC, for the construction of the Bud Ervin Water Treatment Plant Control System.
- Council approved a special event permit for Music Alley 2022.
Public Hearing
- Council approved a request for a specific-use permit for a used merchandise store on just under 1 acre of land located at 1826 Cannon Dr.
Public Hearing and First Reading
- Council tabled the first reading of an ordinance to approve a zoning change to PD Planned Development for Single-Family Residential Uses on just under 3 acres of land located at 301 Sayers St.
New Business
- Council passed an ordinance to abandon the eastern half of a portion of the Miller Road prescriptive right-of-way located north of Heritage Parkway.
