The City of Mansfield will host public presentations about its upcoming bond election on April 14 and 18, during which Mansfield residents will have the opportunity to learn about the five propositions that will be featured on the election ballot.
Both presentations will take place at City Hall (1200 E. Broad St.). The April 14 presentation is scheduled for 9 a.m., and the April 18 presentation is scheduled for 6 p.m. In an effort to accommodate parents interested in attending the 9 a.m. April 14 presentation, there will be an adult-supervised area with activities for children.
The City Council has asked Mansfield residents to consider five propositions in the upcoming bond election: a veterans memorial; a joint recreation center and library; renovations and additions to Mansfield’s community parks and athletic facilities; an expansion of Mansfield’s trail network; and a Miracle League field.
