[ARCHIVED] Food for Fines is back!

Food for Fines Campbell can

Do you owe some fines in the library? Would you like to clear those fines and help the community and your furry friends in need? Join us during the month of November for Food for Fines.

Mansfield Public Library is participating in the annual Food for Fines drive from November 1-November 30. Patrons are asked to bring in non-perishable human food and pet items in order to pay their library fines. All donations benefit the Mansfield Mission Center and the Mansfield Animal Shelter.

Items that are open, expired, or damaged, will not be accepted. Food for Fines will only apply towards overdue or lost library card charges. Lost book charges, damaged item fees, or other fees associated with your library card will not be eligible.

Fines up to $10 can be waived for $1.00 a can/item. Please note that only Mansfield Public Library materials will be waived.

No fines? No problem! The library will happily accept donations from those without fines. Let’s gather together to help our neighbors and furry friends in need!
