[ARCHIVED] Turkey Palooza is Back!

Turkey Palooza

Turkey Palooza is a collaborative effort presented by multiple city departments including the Library, Mansfield Fire and Rescue, Animal Care and Control, Environmental Services, and Water Utilities. It is a fun and unique way to experience the following:

  • A live cooking demo by Chef Carol Richie. She will show you how to prep a turkey for cooking, as well as how to prepare a few seasonal side dishes. This will be Carol’s third in-person appearance and she is excited to participate once again.

  • Learn the proper way to deep-fry a whole turkey with a live demonstration by the Mansfield Fire Department and Mayor Pro Tem, Todd Tonore.

  • Staff from Environmental Services and Water Utilities will teach you how to properly dispose of used cooking oil, and will provide a brief presentation on how to harvest your own rain water.

  • Animal Care and Control will be on hand to talk about how to keep your pets safe during the holiday season.

  • And if that wasn’t enough, you will also be served a FREE Thanksgiving lunch while you’re here.

In addition to some city-branded giveaways, there will also be a drawing for a FREE rain barrel courtesy of Mansfield Water Utilities.

This event has limited seating, so register HERE to reserve your spot.
