Crews will close a portion of National Parkway starting May 1 as part of the Holland Road expansion project.
The roadway will be closed from Garden Path Lane to South Holland Road for three weeks, weather pending. This closure is to allow crews to construct a new 24" sewer line along Holland Road.
Motorists are encouraged to detour along Britton Road from Heritage Parkway and South Holland Road.
This closure is vital to the project's scope and timeline. The City has been coordinating with the nearby school and Mansfield Independent School District from the start of this project. This closure and an upcoming summer closure in front of Elizabeth Smith Innovative Learning will ensure the roadways are open for the beginning of the upcoming school year.
