Recent Mosquito Trap Tests Positive for West Nile

The City of Mansfield Environmental Services recorded a positive West Nile virus result in one of our mosquito traps near the intersection of Moore Road and Spirit Walk Drive. Because it is early in the mosquito season, and based on data and expertise, we will not conduct spraying at this time. We will continue to monitor the site, and encourage residents to drain standing water, and take extra precautions when outdoors.
