1. Who maintains the right-of-way?

Questions regarding mowing in the right of way should be directed to the Parks Department. It is a City ordinance that property owners are responsible for mowing and maintenance up to the curb or to the edge of the pavement.

2. Who repairs streetlights?

Oncor & United Cooperative owns, operates and maintains all streetlights within the City right-of-way. Requests for repairs and consideration for installation of new streetlights can be made to the City of Mansfield at 817-276-4243.

3. Who sweeps the streets?

The City hires an outside contractor to sweep the streets. Thoroughfare streets are swept monthly. Residential streets are swept twice per year.

4. Who do I contact for potholes or other minor street repairs?

Street Operations will service potholes and minor street repairs. Please call the City of Mansfield Street Operations Department at 817-276-4243, or you may report a pothole repair online.

5. Who do I contact if there is debris in the road or if there is brush blocking my visibility?

Contact the Street Operations Department at 817-276-4243 if there is anything in the roadway or blocking visibility.
