Yes, you must wear clothing that is not revealing, see through, or provocative in nature. Proper clothing/shoes are strictly enforced, no tank tops, Midriffs must be completely covered at all times, pants must fit at the waist. Questions/Unsure? Contact the court at 817-276-4716.
There is a screening process you must go through before allowed admittance into the court room. We encourage you to leave items such as handbags and purses at home or secured in a safe environment.
Electronic devices such as cameras, cell phones, and radios are not allowed in the courtroom. Items you should bring with you are court paperwork, Drivers License or Identification Card, any evidence you wish viewed during the court proceedings.

In most cases yes. However, there may be exemptions allowed by law which would free you of this duty. Jurors do receive compensation for their duty. Visit the jury information page for more information.
Commercial Driver's License holders are not eligible for Deferred Disposition or a Driving Safety Course to keep moving violations off their record. CDL holders can either pay the fine and take a conviction or plead not guilty and request a court date with the prosecutor.
The Mansfield Municipal Court provides two options to keep citations from adversely affecting your driving record with the Texas Department of Public Safety. These options are deferred disposition and driver safety course. Both of these alternatives require a plea of guilty or no contest and approval from the court.
Some offenses may be dismissed for compliance if the defendant meets all the requirements. These violations include: Fail to Maintain Financial Responsibility, Fail to report name or address change, Fail to Display Valid Driver's License, Expired Driver's License, Expired Vehicle Registration, Driver's License Restriction or endorsement violations and defective equipment violations. These dismissals have terms and are not always a defendant's right. These dismissals are offered only if the defendant appears on or before the required appearance date and meets specific terms. Fines for compliance dismissals are payable immediately by cash, money order or credit/debit card.
The Judge may allow you to set up a payment plan for outstanding citations. You may not be eligible for this option if you have previously defaulted on a payment plan or if you enrolled in community service. The court clerk will give you more detailed instructions on setting up a payment plan at our clerk window. There is a financial information packet that must be completed before the Judge will consider your request for a payment plan.
