1. My kids attend Mansfield ISD schools. Am I considered a Mansfield resident?

You do not need to be a resident of Mansfield to participate in programs, attend special events or rent our facilities.  Residency is based on your physical address. Mansfield residents have a 76063 zip code. There is no differentiation in program registration fees, but residents do receive membership and rental discounts.

2. Do I need to come in to register for a program or activity?

No. You may register for all programs in person at the Mansfield Activities Center or you may register for most programs online. You will need to create an account to register online. If you previously created an account and can't remember your password, use the "Forgot your password?" feature on the login screen.  

3. How old do children have to be to stay at the Mansfield Activities Center by themselves?

Children 8 years old and older can be at the Mansfield Activities Center (MAC) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. without parent supervision. After 6 p.m, children must be 13 years old and older to be at the MAC without parent supervision.

Children younger than the age requirements can be at the MAC if they are in a scheduled activity or class. If a parent is unable to attend with a child under 8 or 13 depending on the time of day, someone 21 years old or older needs to accompany the child.

4. Do I need to get my parents to sign me in at the Mansfield Activities Center?

Yes, if you are 17 and under, an adult must be present to sign your membership waiver.  This is required for each membership purchased, whether an annual membership or a day pass.

5. Is it really important that I bring my MAC card every time and scan it?

Yes! We ask that you scan your card so we have a history of attendance. Also, for security reasons, we need to know who is in our building.

6. What hours are the Senior Lifestyles program available?

We have programmed activities from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some special classes start in the afternoons but for the most part the activities take place in the mornings.

7. Is transportation offered for the Senior Lifestyles program?

We have buses that can pick up participants in the morning and bring them to the MAC and then take them back home in the afternoons after lunch. The bus has a handicap lift if needed for wheelchairs. This service is available to Mansfield residents only, subject to address verification.  Participants must sign up with senior staff at least 1 day in advance.

8. How do I make a lunch reservation?

You may call the Mansfield Activities Center (MAC) at (817) 728-3680 from 9 a.m to 9 p.m. to make a reservation for lunch. Reservations must be called in by 10 a.m. the day prior. Many times we have cancellations and you can call or come the day of and expect to eat.  Participants may also sign up in person at the MAC.
