    Ready to cast your bait and reel in the big fish this summer, but not sure how or where to start? Join us for beginning fishing classes at Oliver Nature Park. We supply the equipment and bait! This class is for junior anglers ages 3-16.
    All anglers over 16 years of age must have a valid Texas fishing license to fish in Mansfield Parks.

  6. Kayaking 101 (7Y+)

    August 8, 2020, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Britton Park

    Take a break from the hiking trails and get on the water! We will go out in dual-seated kayaks along the creek on Joe Pool Lake. Participants will enjoy a scenic paddle looking for wildlife and plants with a naturalist. We will also instruct on safety, proper techniques, and a eco-friendly approach to paddle. Each child ages 7-17 years must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

    National Senior Citizens Day was created to give back to the seniors that have impacted our lives and those who have already given so much. For all that they have done, we owe our seniors our thanks and gratitude. This event is gaining in popularity with approximately 350 people in attendance.
