    Creekside Cleanup is a biannual event typically held the second Saturday of April and October. The City provides cleanup supplies, lunch and t-shirts.

    Learn how to play chess or just brush up on your skills. All ages and levels welcome. No registration is required. Chess club occurs every second Saturday of the month from 1:30-3 p.m.

  1. Story Time for Tots (18mo-3Y)

    October 12, 2019, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Library Community Room

    Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. This introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others. Story Time for Tots is every Tuesday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Please check the library calendar for specific dates. No registration is required.

  1. AHA HeartSaver CPR Course (13Y+)

    October 12, 2019, 9:15 AM - 2:15 PM @ Mansfield Activities Center

    Learn the confidence and skills needed to help and assist during the first critical moments of an accident or medical emergency. Teens, adults, or other individuals who want or need training can benefit from the up-to-date skills that are required to obtain a HeartSaver course completion card. This course teaches AHA standards for CPR, First Aid, and use of an AED. Certifications are good for 2 years.

  2. Nature Crafts (all ages)

    Bees and butterflies need your help! Fall is a great time to plant native seeds for pollinators to feed on in the spring. Each participant will make two seed bombs: one to take home to plant your own native flower garden, and one to toss into the prairie at the park. We will take a short hike to the prairie during this class.

    All materials are provided. Pre-registration required.
