  1. Support Now Network Meeting

    November 18, 2019, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    @
    Mansfield Activities Center

Caring for and supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge can be overwhelming at times and caretakers often become victims of the process themselves due to lack of support and resources. With this in mind, the Mansfield Police Department created a caretaker support group called the Support Now Network where caretakers have the opportunity to gain and give support, share struggles, and discover beneficial strategies and resources to help themselves and their loved one. The Support Now Network is a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment which is facilitated by a certified Mental Health/Crisis Intervention Officer with years of experience in this area who also teaches Crisis Intervention and mental health related courses to officers from all over the Metroplex.
