Babies 0-18 months with a caregiver can enjoy 20-30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, sign language and rhymes, building early literacy and listening skills. Baby Story Time is every Friday in September and November at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required.

Come in for open playtime in our Family Place Library area. Bring your young children to play with others while building skills through play. Playtime is open from 11-2 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday. Parents are required to remain with children at all times. No registration is required.

Tarrant County is preparing a Historic Preservation Plan that will set priorities for preservation efforts countywide, funded in part by a Certified Local Government grant from the Texas Historical Commission (THC). The study is being completed by Austin-based historic preservation planning and management firm HHM & Associates, Inc. (HHM) in cooperation with Cox McClain Environmental Services (CMES). HHM will be conducting a workshop on the preservation plan to gather input from the public and stakeholders. This project entails planning and information-gathering only. No zoning or land-use changes will be included within the scope of this project.
