  1. 2019 Holiday Grease Roundup

    November 25, 2019 - January 6, 2020, 12:00 AM @ Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    Don't pour your holiday grease down the drain! Grease clogs your pipes and can even cause sewer backups. Protect your home, city and environment by recycling it during this regional collection event. Collected cooking oil and grease will be used to create biodiesel or turn it into biogas for energy production. Follow the signs on Wisteria Street and drop off your used oil at the collection station outside the gate near the dumpster.

  1. Baby Story Time (0-18mo)

    Babies 0-18 months with a caregiver can enjoy 20-30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, sign language and rhymes, building early literacy and listening skills. Baby Story Time is every Friday in September and November at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required.

  2. Family Place Playtime

    Come in for open playtime in our Family Place Library area. Bring your young children to play with others while building skills through play. Playtime is open from 11-2 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday. Parents are required to remain with children at all times. No registration is required.

  3. Girl Scout Classes (5Y+) - Space Science Explorer

    December 20, 2019, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Space scientists are people who study outer space—what’s in the sky. In this badge, you can be a space scientist as you look at the sky and talk about what you see! We will complete all requirements to earn Daisy Scout badges (badge not included). Students do not have to be in scouts to attend.
