Thanksgiving, with its fried turkeys, buttery foods, and gravy, can be hard on the diet—and on pipes and sewer systems. Instead of washing your grease down the drain, participate in the Holiday Grease Roundup and recycle it for free! The collected cooking oil and grease will be recycled into biodiesel or biogas, reducing landfill waste and providing alternative fuel that is clean and green.

Bring your tail wagging best friend to our new Bark Ranger certification classes! We will create a memory keepsake, talk about outdoor safety for pets, Leave no Trace, and how you and your pet can become park stewards. Upon completion of your Bark Ranger training, you and your pet will receive a certificate, honorary Bark Ranger dog tag, collapsible food bowl, and puppy treats. Then we will hit the trails to show off our new skills. All dogs must be on a fixed leash. 1 dog per registered adult. Children may attend with registered adult. Current rabies certificate must be brought to each class. Don’t have a dog? You can participate with a shelter dog! When you sign up you will be asked if you would like to participate with a shelter dog or bring your own dog. Pre-registration required.

This class is designed for beginning archers to learn the basics and good techniques with a USA Archery certified instructor. Archery teaches respect for nature and builds confidence through practice. Bows and arrows are provided.
