    Children 3-6 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs and a craft. Listener’s Story Time fosters emergent literacy, reinforces group listening skills, creativity and allows children to interact with others. Listener’s Story Time is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. No registration required.

  2. Family Place Playtime

    Come in for open playtime in our Family Place Library area. Bring your young children to play with others while building skills through play. Playtime is open from 11-2 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday. Parents are required to remain with children at all times. No registration is required.

    Make a memory with your toddler at our Preschool Picasso class. This spring, our little artists will create a spring flower themed painting with their parent or guardian. One adult must be registered for each child. Only adults need to register for this program. Pre-registration required.

    Note: if the weather is bad or it is a very cold day this class will be moved indoors. Participants that are signed up will receive a phone call and e-mail to let them know of any changes.

    Ready to cast your bait and reel in the big fish this summer, but not sure how or where to start? Join us for beginning fishing classes at Oliver Nature Park. We supply the equipment and bait! This class is for junior anglers ages 3-16.
    All anglers over 16 years of age must have a valid Texas fishing license to fish in Mansfield Parks.
