  1. Hazardous Household Waste Dropoff

    March 12, 2020, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    The Environmental Collection Center is the City's permanent drop off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department and is open the second Saturday of every month from 10 am - 3 pm, and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  1. Bilingual Story Time (3-6Y)

    March 12, 2020, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ Library Community Room

    Children 3-6 years old, both English and Spanish speakers, with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays and rhymes in both English and Spanish. This story time fosters emergent literacy, reinforces group listening skills and allows children to become familiar with a second language. Bilingual Story Time is every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required.

  2. Home-school Art Club

    March 12, 2020, 12:30 PM - 2:45 PM @ Library Community Room

    Come learn about an artist, their techniques and participate in a hands on art project the second Thursday of each month. Choose between two time slots, either 12:30-1:30 p.m. or 1:45-2:45 p.m. The same lesson will be taught at both classes. Art Club is open to all school age children. All supplies are provided. Registration is required.

    Come enjoy Oliver Nature Park and learn about the wonders of nature on a guided hike with a Naturalist! Wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. All participants over 2 years of age must pre-register. Each child/family must have at least one adult attending and registered for the program. We encourage nature walks for the whole family!
