  1. Hazardous Household Waste Dropoff

    March 13, 2020, 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    The Environmental Collection Center is the City's permanent drop off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department and is open the second Saturday of every month from 10 am - 3 pm, and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

  1. Baby Story Time (0-18mo)

    Babies 0-18 months with a caregiver can enjoy 20-30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, sign language and rhymes, building early literacy and listening skills. Baby Story Time is every Friday in September and November at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required.

    Come in for open playtime in our Family Place Library area. Bring your young children to play with others while building skills through play. Playtime is open from 11-2 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday. Parents are required to remain with children at all times. No registration is required.

  2. Bark Ranger (15Y+)

    March 13, 2020, 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Bring your tail wagging best friend to our new Bark Ranger certification classes! We will create a memory keepsake, talk about outdoor safety for pets, Leave no Trace, and how you and your pet can become park stewards. Upon completion of your Bark Ranger training, you and your pet will receive a certificate, honorary Bark Ranger dog tag, collapsible food bowl, and puppy treats. Then we will hit the trails to show off our new skills. All dogs must be on a fixed leash. 1 dog per registered adult. Children may attend with registered adult. Current rabies certificate must be brought to each class.
    Don’t have a dog? You can participate with a shelter dog! When you sign up you will be asked if you would like to participate with a shelter dog or bring your own dog.
