    Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. This introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others. Story Time for Tots is every Tuesday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Please check the library calendar for specific dates. No registration is required.

    This program is for non-native Spanish speakers who want to learn basic Spanish skills. Join us weekly on Tuesday's from 5-6 p.m. To find out exact class schedule, contact the library or check out the library calendar. Classes are free and no registration is required. This program is limited to adults.

  1. Freshwater Ecology - Online (9-14Y)

    April 28, 2020, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park

    Streams and ponds provide habitat for a wide variety of interesting organisms. Students will learn about the different types of freshwater ecosystems and how the inhabitants of these bodies of water interact with each other. Live animals will help us learn about freshwater habitats right here in Texas! We hope students will have a newfound interest in these very intricate ecosystems and be inspired to do your part to keep these areas clean and healthy.
