Students will learn all about the layers of the forest including the plants, animals, and insects that live there. Each day we will study a specific layer of the forest: forest floor, herb layer, shrub layer, understory, and canopy. Students will get an up-close look at plants, animals, and more that share an unique ecosystem in our park. Daily activities will include crafts, experiments, nature walks, games, and hands-on nature exploration. Oliver Nature Park drawstring bag and daily snack are included in registration. Pre-registration required by the Friday July 17th at 12 pm.

Tennis skills will be taught with individual drills, skill challenges, and match play. Class held at Chandler Park. Camp will be held from 07/20-07/24.

Enjoy going beyond a recipe! Kids will use imagination and innovation to come up with amazing recipes. This camp will be hands on where kids experiment with a variety of dishes. Kids will test their own ideas to put spins on recipes. Camp will be held from 07/20-07/23.

Caring for and supporting a loved one with a mental health challenge can be overwhelming at times and caretakers often become victims of the process themselves due to lack of support and resources. With this in mind, the Mansfield Police Department created a caretaker support group called the Support Now Network where caretakers have the opportunity to gain and give support, share struggles, and discover beneficial strategies and resources to help themselves and their loved one. The Support Now Network is a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment which is facilitated by a certified Mental Health/Crisis Intervention Officer with years of experience in this area who also teaches Crisis Intervention and mental health related courses to officers from all over the Metroplex.
