The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

Families will join Chef Carol online to cook simple, kid-friendly treats for Mother’s Day. Most ingredients will be provided, but some perishable items you’ll need to get on your own. Kits must be picked up at Mansfield Public Library between April 26-May 6. Any kits not picked up by May 6 will go to the next person on the waitlist.

Join us at Oliver Nature Park to celebrate the Monarch Butterfly. Activities will include games, crafts, nature walks, plant ID hikes, a butterfly release, and more. The Mansfield Garden Club will be hosting a Native Plant sale for the community to purchase plants at the festival. Pre-registration is not required for this FREE program.
Do you have a desire to embrace your inner artist? Do you love landscapes? If so, then this hands-on watercolor workshop is for you. Learn everything you need to create your own painting of a landscape. The workshop includes the basics of watercolor and how to paint a variety of landscapes. Supplies will be available for use during the workshop and leave with your completed painting.
Historic Recognition Day Ceremony
May is Preservation Month in Mansfield!
Join Mansfield's Historic Preservation Officer and his volunteers on guided walking tours of Historic Downtown Mansfield each Saturday in May. Learn what Mansfield was like in the late 1800s and early 1900s. The tours are FREE but registration is required.
We have tours each Saturday morning in May: 9:00 and 10:30am* The tours start in front of the Mansfield Historical Museum and Heritage Center at 102 N. Main Street.
*There will not be a 10:30am tour on May 8 due to the Historic Mansfield Recognition Ceremony at the Mansfield Historical Museum
