Organic Gardening On Demand, Online Class

Learn how to manage your garden using more natural methods! Organic gardening is gardening without using synthetic chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. However, that does not mean that nothing is done to the plants. Great results can be achieved using natural materials and methods. In this class you will learn about organic fertilizer types, organic pest control, natural weed control, and other natural gardening practices. The class will be 1 hour long and taught by a Tarrant County Master Gardener. Register at the link to the right to receive information on how to participate.

Zoom Story Time for Tots

Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities.

Nature's Artists Camp (7-12Y)

Join us for an art based nature camp at Oliver Nature Park. Students will complete many pieces of art throughout the week based around the beauty of nature. A few of the crafts the students will create include making paper, paintbrushes, animals from natural materials, and so much more! They will learn where our materials come from, why each material is important to our surroundings, and what materials we would not want to use from the forest. Oliver Nature Park drawstring bag, camp shirt, and daily snack are included in registration fee. Pre-registration required by Friday July 9th at 12 PM.
