    Vocal soloists Erica Simmons, Matt Corcoran, and Will Derusha will join the Mansfield Philharmonic and conductor Eldred Marshall for this evening of operatic music. Enjoy Chevalier de Saint-George’s Overture to The Anonymous Lover, Bach’s short but hilarious Coffee Cantata, and then a semi-staged production of Mozart’s one-act chamber opera Bastien und Bastienne. Written when Mozart was only 12 years old, this mini-opera still showcases Mozart’s knack for parody, whimsy, and excellent vocal melodies. Bastien und Bastienne is a comedic romp through pastoral young love.
