The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

Babies 0-18 months with a caregiver can enjoy 20-30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, sign language and rhymes, building early literacy and listening skills.

Come in for open playtime in our Family Place Library area. Bring your young children to play with others while building skills through play. Playtime is open from 11-2 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday. Parents are required to remain with children at all times. No registration is required.

Whether it's a holiday or teacher work day, we've got you covered! We jam-packed each day with physical activity, creativity, and play through a variety of fun activities and field trips. Fee includes all activities, field trips, and transportation.

Come create your own mini-ecosystem using succulents. Participants will use their imagination to create their own ecosystem with a dino or fairy garden design.

Join a naturalist for a hike all about bats and owls. Take an up-close look at specimens, try to call in the owls, and listen for bats with a bat meter.

Bring your paddle and your game face for the Paddle Battle Pickleball Tournament. The tournament is formatted for a rotating round robin, where you will play against multiple teams in the first round and then play against similarly ranked teams in the next round. Choose your partner or have one assigned.
