  1. Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off

    Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

    Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. This introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others.

    Drop in for VR experiences in gaming, global exploration, artistic creation, and more! Walk-ins and reservations available. Younger family members can watch, but participants must be 13 years of age or older to use the virtual reality headsets according to the manufacturer. The use of VR headsets are not recommended for those with pre-existing medical conditions such as seizures or medical devices. Please read the manufacturer's safety manual before registering.

    Kiddos age 6-11 can listen to soothing music while instructor Sharita Richardson of Poet & Papyrus, LLC, leads a relaxing painting program with accommodations for students with special needs and their caregiver. Program is free but registration is required. All supplies are provided. This program is intended for special needs families with children age 6 to 11.
