    Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

    Join us for a night of food, music, and prizes! Mansfield Reads! 2022 begins with our annual Kickoff celebration at Taphouse 16 inside Market Street, 3145 E. Broad St. in Mansfield. This year’s One City, One Book selection is The Guide by Peter Heller. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Reads! sponsor, Market Street. There will be live music, raffles, and book sales. Registration opens that night for our Evening with the Author on Oct 20 at Legacy High School.

    Enjoy over 100 dinosaur statues along a half-mile path with thousands of artifacts, specimens, and unique items on display. After bus to historic downtown Glen Rose where you can shop the boutiques and enjoy lunch (dutch). The fee includes transportation and discounted group admission.
