The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.
Learn about that month's spice, participate in an activity, and recipe swap!
This program was funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. This introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others.
