The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.
Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. This introduces group listening skills and provides interaction with others. Program is free and no registration is required.
What do you do with your broken stuff? Toss it? No way! Volunteer repair experts will be available to help make all possible repairs free of charge. Bring along your broken items from home. Please bring any other replacement parts that may be required. Note that clothing is accepted for repair, not alteration.
