The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

Experience a tour of the Man House Museum to learn about the Man family, and then participate in a hands-on history activity that is fun for all ages. This program is free, but supplies are limited. Toddlers 18 months to 3 years old with a caregiver can enjoy 30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, and rhymes introducing toddlers and parents to developmentally appropriate literature and related activities. Create a special craft for your loved one during Craft My Valentine. This is a come-and-go program. No registration is required. This program was funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
Drop in for VR experiences in gaming, global exploration, artistic creation, and more! Walk-ins and reservations available. Younger family members can watch, but participants must be 13 years of age or older to use the virtual reality headsets according to the manufacturer.

Do you have cabin fever? Join us for a chillin good time this winter at Frozen Fest. Participants will explore frozen experiments, create tracks in the ‘snow’, create snowflakes, learn about animals in winter, enjoy a guided story walk, and embark on a self-guided scavenger hunt through the woods. Dress up like a snowman to win a prize! There will also be a winter scene photo op.
Revel in a winter's evening by a roaring fire at Rose Park. Make s'mores, stargaze, sing and listen to the stories behind the common constellations.
