The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.
The Family Place Workshop is the place to play and learn for 1-3 year old's and their caregivers. The Family Place Workshop is a four week workshop for families with children between the ages 1-3 years old. They will be held once a week starting Friday, March 10th at 9:00 a.m. for 4 weeks. Each week families can play in the Library Learning Center and have a chance to interact with a professional on a different topic concerning early childhood development. Registration and attendance for all 4 weeks is required.

Babies 0-18 months with a caregiver can enjoy 20-30 minutes of books, songs, finger-plays, sign language and rhymes, building early literacy and listening skills.
This program is free with no registration required.
Come in for open playtime in our Family Place Library area. Bring your young children to play with others while building skills through play. Playtime is open from 11-12 p.m. every Wednesday and Friday. Parents are required to remain with children at all times. No registration is required.
Come create something colorful with us using dyes made from natural materials and find out what plants in the area make beautiful natural dyes as well! Participants will take home two tie dye items to enjoy for years to come.
