    Environmental Collection Center (ECC)

    The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

Program is free and no registration is required.

    Drop in for VR experiences in gaming, global exploration, artistic creation, and more! Walk-ins and reservations available. Younger family members can watch, but participants must be 13 years of age or older to use the virtual reality headsets according to the manufacturer. Program is FREE and registration is recommended. The use of VR headsets are not recommended for those with pre-existing medical conditions such as seizures or medical devices. We'll have crafts, games, science and nature education, guided hikes and--new this year--a butterfly house you have to see to believe! Offsite parking at Willie Brown Elementary School with free shuttles running to the park continuously from 9am-12pm. Free event but preregistration is recommended.
