The Environmental Collection Center (ECC) is the City's permanent drop-off facility for unwanted household hazardous materials (anything with a warning label), electronics and recyclables. This facility is operated by the City's Environmental Services Department, and is open the second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., and the Thursday and Friday before the second Saturday, from 3 - 7 p.m.

Start a new adventure at the Mansfield Public Library! The Mansfield Public Library is hosting a short session of Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition. Join us for monthly one-shot encounters! Adventure through an encounter with other players in the hit tabletop roleplaying game. This event is focused around an adult audience. New players are encouraged to attend, as pre-generated characters and a short tutorial will be given before the encounter begins. All supplies will be provided. Program is free, and registration is required.

Calling all book lovers to join us for a night of food, music, and prizes to celebrate 20 years of Mansfield Reads! This year’s One City, One Book selection is Daughter of the Morning Star by Craig Johnson, author of the Longmire series. Our annual Kickoff Celebration takes place at Taphouse 16 (inside Market Street - 3145 E. Broad St.). Hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Reads! sponsor, Market Street. There will be live music, raffles, and book sales. Registration opens that night for the Evening with the Author event on October 19.
Have you ever wanted to try yoga but felt you didn't know where to start? Well look no further, we have an all-levels yoga class just for you! We will learn first how to breathe and then we will develop strength and flexibility by moving through gentle poses. This class will focus on alignment, balance, and mindfulness. No prior yoga experience is needed. Program is FREE and no registration is required. Please make sure to bring your own yoga mat.

Science is all around us! Learn about different science subjects each class as we participate in hands-on experiments and exploration throughout the park. We will be focusing on astronomy, simple machines, and geology this session. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and use scientific instruments including core samplers, rock test kits, microscopes, and pH meters.
