Employee Assistance Program
The most important part of assembling a puzzle is keeping it together. Part of the way we keep together includes providing a free Employee Assistance Program.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP):
The City of Mansfield provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through the Workers Assistance Program which provides confidential professional consultation and short-term counseling for employees and their family members at no charge.
The program is designed to assist employees with personal issues and/or workplace issues. Services are available to family members who reside with the employee regardless of whether the family member is enrolled in the employee's health insurance plan.
Ways We Can Help
Counselors are available to assist with issues regarding:
- Family relationships
- Marital/divorce issues
- Drug and alcohol problems
- Professional growth
- Workplace conflicts
- Physical or emotional abuse
- Depression and loneliness
- Loss of a friend, family, or coworker
- Financial and legal referrals
