Trash Pick Up Schedule
Garbage is collected at the curb on a twice-a week basis beginning at 7 a.m.
For households whose regular day of collection falls on a holiday observed. Collection will be resumed on the next regularly scheduled collection day. Holidays observed are July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. For more information, comments or complaints, contact Republic Services at 817-317-2000.
Small Commercial Curbside Collection Service
This service is intended for businesses that generate no more than 3 bags of garbage from normal operation per collection day. These are typically located in reformed houses where a business is now operating. Please download and complete this application form and follow the return instructions for consideration of this service.
TRASH: All household refuse, other than recyclables, bundled brush, or unacceptable wastes.
BUNDLED BRUSH: Brush, limbs, yard debris and twigs will be collected if tied in bundles no more than 4ft in length and weighing approximately 50 lbs or less each.
UNACCEPTABLE WASTES: Construction debris, loose brush, hazardous chemicals, paint, and other items defined in the City’s Garbage and Recycling Ordinance as unacceptable.
CONTAINERS: All refuse must be in plastic bags or regulation garbage cans weighing no more than 35 lbs when full. You are limited to 10 bags or 4 cans per collection.
Please call Republic Services at 817-317-2000 to arrange for a special truck to pick up these items. Stoves, water tanks, washing machines, dryers, furniture, & appliances (excluding any refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners or other appliances that do not contain written or visual evidence that the chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) have been removed by a certified, authorized and licensed technician.)
Residents of Mansfield can also use a landfill site operated by Republic Services located at 800 Mosier Valley Rd. There is a charge to use the facility, and proof of residency is required. The cost to dropoff material at the landfill is $22/truckload or $47/ton for more than one load. For brush there is a charge of $18/truck and $4/cubic yard. Each resident is entitled to one free trip to the landfill per year. In order to receive a voucher for this service, the resident must come to the Utility Billing service desk.
Brush Chipper Service
Residents may call Republic Services to schedule the collection of large piles of loose brush. There is a separate charge of $105.10 per hour, with a one-hour minimum charge for this service.
Brush can also be bound in 4 foot lengths and set out with regular curbside trash. Bundles should not weigh more than 50 pounds.
